A fun and easy spring craft for families, these adorable bunnies are made out of your handprint!
Easter may be over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t continue to make all of the cute spring bunny crafts! And, today, I have a fun paper craft that the whole family is going to love! Hands down, this might actually be the cutest paper craft ever. That’s right—I’m talking about Paper Handprint Bunnies!

These Paper Handprint Bunnies are quite literally the easiest craft ever to make. All you need is some paper (cardstock does work best, but any spare crafting paper will do) and colored pencils and you can create the most adorable little bunnies out of tracing your hand! This craft is easy enough for kids to do on their own or for the whole family to do together.

Plus, these Paper Handprint Bunnies will look so cute around the house to continue celebrating spring!
Read on below to learn how to make your own Paper Handprint Bunnies!
Here’s What You Need:
- White cardstock (you can also use some colorful craft paper)
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Colored pencils

Here’s How to Make Your Paper Handprint Bunnies:
Using a pencil, loosely trace around your hand as the fingers will be used to create the bunny. Once you have all of your fingers traced, lift your hand and complete the hand on the bottom (like shown below).

Next, to make what will end up being the bunny’s arms a similar length, lightly trace a line from where the thumb and index finger meet across the hand to where the ring finger and pinky meet. Erase where the ring finger and pinky meet and bring the point down to the line you drew from the thumb. Now, your bunny’s arms will be nearly the same length.

Now, begin to cut out the handprint with your scissors. When you get to the middle finger, however, make a rounded cut at the base of the finger, thus removing the middle finger entirely. This will create the top of the bunny’s head. Finish cutting out the rest of the handprint.

Once the handprint is completely cut out, it should look like the one in the image below.

With a pink colored pencil, color in the center of the ring and index fingers as this will now be your bunny’s ears! Can you see the bunny coming together?
Taking a black colored pencil, create some eyes for your bunny. You can create rounded eyes (like shown below) or create something a little more animated. Give your bunny whatever expression you’d like!

With the pink colored pencil again, give your bunny a little nose. To complete your bunny’s face, take the black colored pencil and draw a mouth starting from the base of the bunny’s nose.

Don’t forget about whiskers! Use the black colored pencil to make some whiskers on either side of the bunny’s face.
Now, fold down the thumb and pinky. Your bunny now has arms! With the black colored pencil, create little toes on your bunny’s paws.

That’s it! Now you have a cute little bunny that deserves a round of applause!

These Paper Handprint Bunnies might be super easy to make, but don’t they turn out so cute?! It’s such a fun craft for the whole family for spring.

That’s a great idea for toddlers to participate in crafts! My daughter would love that. I’ll have to try it with her.
