St. Patty’s Day is just around the corner, and if you love Rice Krispies Treats and Lucky Charms, then do I have the perfect treat for you: Lucky Charms Marshmallow Treats! It is a perfectly festive and magical way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! Plus, these marshmallow treats are no-bake and only require four simple ingredients, so it doesn’t get much easier than that!

Perhaps my favorite part of these Lucky Charms Marshmallow Treats is the double marshmallows. I’ve always been a fan of those gourmet Rice Krispies treats that add in whole marshmallows with the rest of the mixture so you gets bit of melted, gooey marshmallow and chewy marshmallow in every bite. By using Lucky Charms for these treats, you automatically get twice the marshmallowy goodness from all of the festive marshmallows already in the cereal—and let me tell you it is cereal-ously delicious!

These Lucky Charms Treats will make for a great quick St. Patty’s dessert or even a festive school snack for the kids!

Here’s What You Need:
- 6 cups of Lucky Charms (I used these fun limited-edition St. Patrick’s Day Lucky Charms)
- 1 10 oz. package of mini marshmallows (These marshmallows are my favorite to use)
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 2 cups of green candy wafers (I got mine at Hobby Lobby, but you can also find candy melts at Walmart or JoAnn)

How to Make Your Own Lucky Charms Marshmallow Treats:
In a large pot, melt three tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Once the butter is fully melted, pour in one 10 ounce bag (approximately five-six cups) of mini marshmallows. Stir the marshmallows to completely coat them with the butter, and occasionally stir the marshmallows are the continue to melt down.

When the marshmallows are melted and silky smooth (as shown above), pour in six cups of your Lucky Charms. Mix the cereal into the marshmallow mixture until it is fully combined.

Now, prepare your baking dish for the marshmallow treats. For a thick-but-not-too-thick marshmallow treat, I prefer to use a 11″x7″ baking dish, but you could, of course, use an 8″x8″ baking dish for a much thicker Lucky Charms marshmallow square or a 13″x9″ baking dish for a thinner treat. Spray the baking dish with a cooking spray to ensure the marshmallow treats will easily slide out of the baking dish after cooling.
With the baking dish now prepared, pour the Lucky Charms mixture into it and, working quickly, firmly press down the marshmallow treats so it is tightly and evenly packed into the dish.

Set your marshmallow treats aside cool completely. You can also put the tray marshmallow treats into the refrigerator for 15 minutes or so to help speed up the process (I know that I can sometimes be impatient! Ha!).
When the marshmallow treats are fully cooled, cut them into equally sized squares. I cut mine into eight equally-sized pieces for a bigger marshmallow treat, but you could easily get 16 smaller squares out of it.
In a separate glass dish, add two-three cups of green candy wafers and microwave them at 30-second intervals until they are completely melted.

Taking each marshmallow treat, dip the bottom of the treat into the melted green candy wafers to completely coat it, and place it onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.

Once all squares have been coated, take any remaining melted candy wafers and drizzle it over the top of the marshmallow treats (if the candy wafers have thicken up too much, you can put it back in the microwave to melt it down again).

Place the tray of marshmallow treats in the refrigerator so the chocolate sets on the treats.
Once the chocolate is set, it’s time to enjoy your delicious Lucky Charms Marshmallow Treats!
Don’t they look so yummy?!

I promise that they taste absolutely amazing and they might actually be my favorite version of all the Rice Krispies Treats I’ve ever had!
