Besides being a day full of love, Valentine’s Day is definitely synonymous with lots and lots of sweet treats. It’s certainly not a bad thing, though. Ha!
When trying to think of what delicious sugary confection to make for your special someone—whether that’s your S.O., BFF, or even yourself (because don’t forget to love yourself, too!)—it can be hard to find a tasty treat that isn’t super complicated or time consuming. Don’t fret, because I have the perfect recipe that you can quite literally whip up within minutes. Really, because it only requires a few ingredients and is no-bake! It truly doesn’t get any better than that. Plus, you will completely wow your valentine with this delightful dessert!

Without further ado, I present Funfetti Cake Dip. A fun sweet treat for Valentine’s Day, this dip pairs perfectly with a platter of fresh fruit, graham crackers, animal crackers, vanilla wafers, or any other sweet wafer or cracker. Although, truthfully, this dip is so delicious, it’s good with just a spoon (no shame, I know this from personal experience).
Read on below for the full recipe for Funfetti Cake Dip. Trust me, you’re going to love this one.
Here’s What You Need:
- 8 oz. of cream cheese (room temperature)
- 8 oz. whipped topping (thawed)
- 1 box of Funfetti cake mix
- 1/3 (to 2/3) cup of milk
- Sprinkles (optional)
- Treats to dip with (I found these awesome Mother’s X’s and O’s cookies at Target!)

How to Make Your Funfetti Cake Dip:
In a large mixing bowl, add 8 oz. of room temperature cream cheese and 8 oz. of thawed whipped topping (I used Cool Whip). With a hand mixer, beat the cream cheese and whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and creamy. It’s important that both ingredients are at room temperature so they combine easily.

Once the cream cheese and whipped topping are mixed, pour in one box of Funfetti cake mix and 1/3 cup of milk. Again, mix in the cake mix and milk with the hand mixer until they are fully incorporated.

If your mixture is still too thick after mixing, incrementally add in some more milk (up to a total of 2/3 cup of milk) until the dip is at your desired consistency.
When your dip is complete, add it to a pretty serving bowl.
This is optional, but for an additional pop of color and to make it extra festive, add a dash of rainbow sprinkles on top.

Lastly, pair your Funfetti Cake Dip with your dipping treat of your choice—whether that’s some graham crackers, fruit, or cookies. Personally, I found these adorable X’s and O’s cookies from Mother’s Cookies and thought they were absolutely perfect to accompany the dip for Valentine’s Day!

And that’s it! So simple and easy! Doesn’t it look delicious?

Whether you make this for yourself or for your special someone this Valentine’s Day, this is the perfect treat for the day of love.
