This Patriotic Flower Arrangement Will Add Some Star-Spangled Sparkle to Your Home For the 4th of July

With a tumbler, decorative shred, and some red, white, and blue flowers (all from Dollar Tree!), you can create this quick and easy Patriotic Flower Arrangement just in time for the 4th of July!

Every year, we like to whoop it up and party (in the U.S.A) for the 4th of July to celebrate living in the land of the free. We’ve been adding lots of flags and festive patriotic-inspired decor all around our house for this special holiday.

This year, I wanted to create a fun and easy decoration for the 4th of July and was inspired by some items I found at Dollar Tree to create a special one-of-kind Patriotic Flower Arrangement. Using a drink tumbler and some faux flowers, I was able to whip up this festive arrangement in mere minutes.

This Patriotic Flower Arrangement looks adorable on a decorated table or even in the window sill to show your patriotic pride.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Festive patriotic vase (I used a 4th of July tumbler from Dollar Tree!)
• Decorative shred (also from Dollar Tree)
• Red, white, and blue faux flowers (also from Dollar Tree)

Here’s How to Make Your Own Patriotic Flower Arrangement:

For your Patriotic Flower Arrangement, you’ll need a festive vase for the 4th of July. When I was at Dollar Tree, I happened to notice these little tumblers and thought they would make for cute vase for some 4th of July decor. The shape was perfect for a vase.

Simply remove the top and reusable straw to convert the tumbler into a vase.

Next, to hide the stems of the flower arrangement, I grabbed some decorative shred from Dollar Tree as well. This light blue was such a pretty color, and thankfully, light enough so the stars on the tumbler still stood out.

Fill the tumbler (or vase of your choice) with the decorative shred.

While I was at Dollar Tree, I managed to scoop up two bundles of these beautiful red, white, and blue flowers. I love that it made this arrangement easy with all of the patriotic colors all already there! But you can certainly use any kind of flowers you’d like, such as red roses, gardenias, and blue hydrangeas!

Once the vase is filled mostly to the top with the decorative shred, add in the flowers. For this tumbler, only two bundles of flowers were needed, but add as many flowers as you’d like to your arrangement.

Then, with the flowers in place, fill the vase to the top with the decorative shred to fully cover the stems.

That’s it! How quick and easy was that Patriotic Flower Arrangement?!
